This kind of flat worm is very small size and they live in large groups. They can be found living on bubble coral, hard coral or anemones. They appear just like a pattern in a bubble coral or other invertebrates that act as their host. They have eyes or anterior sensory areas and all have sensory ganglion. They usually graze the surface for flora and fauna that become trapped in the mucus of the host. Some reproduce sexually.
