Danny Charlton just turned 50!

7th September 2012 saw Danny Charlton, our “big boss”, turned 50. True to his love of hiking and diving, Danny spent the day hiking up Manado Tua to the summit, and then went diving with his wife, Angelique, to the 50m for 50minutes. Later in the evening, Critters@Lembeh staff and management team joined his family and close friends to celebrate the milestone with an outdoor dinner. Guests watched a slideshow of what was the last 50 years had been like for Danny, short speech by him, and then treated to great local and western food. Good times were had. Once again, “Happy Birthday Danny, we wish you all the best and we love you always”!

Fantastic diving! So many weird and wonderful creatures! Its one thing to see a Flamboyant Cuttlefish, but to be able to see one hunt and eat a Mantis Shrimp and photograph it was amazing!
