Born in Tule (Talaud, an island in the north of Sulawesi), 21 October 1990
Sandro started off working as boat crew, but seeing and hearing all the guests and his dive guide friends talking about the cool critters under water inspired him to learn how to dive. And this opened up many new experiences for him and a whole new perspective. He got certified with Critters@Lembeh and studied really hard to increase his critter knowledge.
Sandro’s favorite critter is the flamboyant cuttlefish because it is unique and is so colorful when it flashes. Since becoming a dive guide he has observed flamboyant cuttlefishes mating, eating their prey, hatching, and fighting.
