PANTAI PARIGI
Description: The only white sand muck site, this bay has exceptional healty and dense coral cover in the shallows, then a gentle white sand slope that is a good alternative to the predominantly black sand in the Strait. "Pantai" means beach and "Parigi" means well, so this site is named after the fresh water well in the village and the nearby beach.
Depth: 28 m maximum depth
Boat ride: 8 minute
Primary marine life: A superlative site for small crustaceans, especially commensal species, this slope is also good for cephalopod, frogfish, rays, flying gurnards, goby and mantis shrimp species.
