This species is still related to grouper, and can be found with other fish like cat fish. The skin produce a secretes toxin called grammistin when they are stressed. And it feels like soap to the skin. Base color are yellow and have brown to black eye bar and also in mid-dorsal to anal fin. The size is up to 25 cm.
