HUMBACK PRAWN Metapenaeopsis lamellata
This species is found in sandy areas, often buried in the substrate with only its beautiful green eyes protruding. It is mainly seen on night dives. It often likes to pose for photographs. It is usually seen solitary on sand or in small schools in reef crevices.
