LUMPY SEA STAR Echinaster callosus

This species can be recognized by its rows of rounded tubercles along the rays. The nodules join together along the arms forming bands. It lives on coral reefs but can also be found on sand patches. The color is pinkish and creamy white. The body size is up to 25 cm.
