Has a tan body with white spots on the mantle.It is somewhat translucent with a reticulate pattern of brown encirclings which cover the mantle. The foot is dark brown with white patches. There is a posterior-facing dorsal on the posterior tip of the foot. Species of Pleurobranchaea are carnivorous hunters, probably eating a wide variety of prey, and are reported to feed on tube anemones.
