Guillermo Gomez - General Manager
Guillermo (often known as Gizmo) graduated from Les Roches Hotel Management School in Switzerland with a BBA in International Hospitality Management. Over the the last 12 years he has worked solidly within the hospitality industry, over half this time has been at management level. In 2007, Guillermo was able to combine his love of diving with his work by managing a boutique resort and dive center in the Gulf of Thailand. Then in 2010 he moved to Indonesia with Helen to manage another dive resort. Guillermo is an experienced PADI Instructor and is highly passionate about diving, especially the amazing diving that we have here in the Lembeh Straits and the surrounding area. A Spanish national, he is fluent in Spanish and English and has a working knowledge of Indonesian.
Helen Gomez - Guest Relations Manager
Helen graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA (Hons) in Industrial Economics. After years working as a Relationship Manager in the Insurance industry, Helen went traveling around South-East Asia, discovered diving and has been living in the area and working within the dive industry ever since! Previous roles have seen her managing a large busy dive school as well as teaching many people the joys of diving. Her last role was Dive Center Manager at another resort here in the Lembeh Straits - she is extremely enthusiastic about diving here (and everywhere!) and is always available to chat about the days diving and will often be seen donning her wetsuit and coming for a dive with you! Also a PADI Instructor, she is fluent in English and is working on her Indonesian and Spanish!
