Go Nudi!
Our first ever workshop focused on capturing haunting images of the wide variety of nudibranchs that thrive here in Lembeh Strait was a huge success! Participants and staff enjoyed learning about nudibranchs and their behaviour with Dr. David Behrens, one of the world’s foremost experts on these charming critters. Everyone was also captivated by the photography presentation with Burt Jones and Maurine Shimlock, pioneers of diving Lembeh Strait and other hotspots of marine biodiversity in Indonesia including Raja Ampat. Everyone learned how to take their underwater photography to the next level, capturing beautiful images (not only pictures) on every dive. Critters@Lembeh photo pro Sascha Janson assisted with technical and other camera details.
