Lionfish vs. Bobbit Worm

Lionfish vs. Bobbit Worm

Our Photo Pro Sascha Janson was filming a bobbit worm during a night dive, when a lionfish swam directly in front of his camera, trying to use the camera lights to hunt. What happened next was a case of the hunter becoming the prey. Sascha was lucky enough to film the lightning-fast and incredibly powerful strike of the bobbit worm.  Keep in mind the bobbit worm, about the thickness of two fingers, was by far the smaller critter, whereas the lionfish was about 15cm (6 inches) long.
