The Holidays are about Sharing

This year we decided to help the local villages celebrate the holiday season. With the help from generous guests that donated money but also children’s books, toys etc…. we were able to donate 40 baskets filled with essential goods (rice, flour, sugar, milk, tooth brushes and paste etc…) to some of the poorest local families. The families with children were happy to receive some toys and school materials to make their children’s Christmas more colorful.

Since community life in the local village is still very strong we also wanted to help them celebrate the season together by donating suckling pigs to the closest 4 villages. After as great local meal and the gifts everyone celebrated friendship by singing and dancing.
