Saeed Rashid is an award winning photographer based on the south coast of England. He finds nothing more relaxing than watching the world through a lens. He first picked up a camera at art school where he was studying design and the rest, as they say, is history.
After working in London for a design practice he moved to the south coast to teach illustration at The Arts University College, Bournemouth. From there he moved to The Media School at Bournemouth University to teach Print Design and Photography and has also done some studying of his own, recently completing my Masters in Creative Media Education.
Although he's not solely an underwater photographer he has been exclusively signed as editorial photographic consultant to ‘Diver’ the UK’s leading scuba diving magazine where he advises of photographic matters. He also writes for other photographic magazines such as Digital Photographer.
He runs several underwater photographic and software training workshops both in the UK and in conjunction with blue o two, also abroad.
He is a member of both the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) and The British Society of Underwater Photographers (BSoUP).
