Thin body but have similar coloration like imperator shrimp have white lines over the body. Have large rostum, color of the body can camouflage like the host. This shrimp is associated with sea star found on several species like Linckia sp. ,Ancanthaster sp., Culcita sp.,Choriaster sp. They can be in big group up to 24 shrimps can be found on single sea star or sometimes only 1 or 2. Size 1.3 cm
