Dive and Stay at Lembeh Resort
Lembeh Resort began as the family holiday home of Alex Rorimpandey, a North Sulawesi native from nearby Tondano. What began as a single cottage overlooking the Strait grew into a small resort which opened in December 2002.
Our Dive Center, Critters@Lembeh Resort is owned and managed by Danny Charlton and Angelique Batuna. Angelique’s father, Dr. Batuna, was one of the pioneers of diving in North Sulawesi and is now a member of the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. Danny and Angelique have been working together with Lembeh Resort founder Alex Rorimpandey and his family since before the resort’s opening.
These two families’ key principles of conservation and sustainability remain at the forefront of Lembeh Resort to this very day.
North Sulawesi enjoys warm, tropical weather all year round. Our diving is consistent throughout the year with all months offering excellent marine life sightings and easy diving conditions.
North Sulawesi offers stunning scenery ranging from ancient volcanic peaks through to tranquil lakes and the rolling green hill sides of the Minahasan Highlands and the Tangkoko National Park.
