Amblygobius phalaena
Banded Goby
Pale gray with greenish-brown stripes on the head and front of the body. Features five white-edged gray body bars and a distinctive black spot on the first dorsal fin. Found solitary or in pairs. Inhabits sandy and rubble bottoms of reef flats and sheltered shores, at depths down to 3 - 20 meters.
