Amblypomacentrus breviceps
Blackbanded Damsel
The Blackbanded Damsel has a pearly white to yellowish body with three brown vertical bands. Juveniles show bright yellow anal and pelvic fins. It is an omnivore that eats zooplankton and algae, accepts flakes and pellets, and is generally hardy. Semi-aggressive but sometimes shy, it is reef-safe and does best with plenty of space to limit territorial behavior.
