Spotted Parrotfish

This species is green with pinkish-red spots and lines on its head, a band extending from the mouth to the belly, and stripes or bands on its fins. It can grow up to 80 cm in length. A juvinile face of this species has a white base color with a broad orange bar encircling the head from the eye to the rear gill cover, a large orange-edged black spot on the dorsal fin, and an orange outer tail. This colour variation reaches a size of 5–10 cm.
