Neoglyphidodon thoracotaeniatus
Barhead Damsel
Growing to about 13.5 cm, this species inhabits outer coral reefs at depths of 10–45 m. It feeds on zooplankton and shows parental care by guarding demersal eggs. Juveniles are bright yellow, while adults are dark with distinctive white to brown bars and pelvic fins.
