New Dive Preparation Area

New Dive Preparation Area

One key to a successful dive center is having a place for everything, but all too often the gearing-up area is little more than a jumble of hangers and a moldy old rinse tank. Not so at Critters@Lembeh, where we have just unveiled our new dive preparation area. Designed by a talented young architect using local stone, this diver-friendly facility gives our guests all the facilities they need, while the hip design complements the laid back atmosphere of Lembeh Resort.

Each diver has their own spacious, personalized locker area with drying pegs for boots, and hangers for suits and BCs. There’s never a need to rush for the last hanger after your dive, because your own locker area gives you the space your need for all your kit and more. There are long benches for kitting-up and a briefing area with big whiteboards to help you plan your diving program and keep an eye on the day’s events.

We know that photographers need rinse tanks with fresh water and plenty of space, so we have added more of these – there is plenty of space for everyone’s camera rig. And while your housing is enjoying a soak, you too can wash away the salt with one of our new freshwater showers.

The preparation area is an important hub for organizing our diving, but we also want it to be a space where people can hang out and chat between dives, perhaps enjoying a coffee from our cafe, the Genus Bar, or pool bar. We are here to ensure your dive gear and cameras make it safely to the boat, that we get you to the optimum site and put you in front of all the critters you dream of seeing. But we also want our guests to relish those peaceful moments between the dives, so that your diving day becomes one long pleasure.
