About the Photo Pros
Brandi Muller started diving when she was fifteen, and has been a scuba instructor for over ten years. After watching the pros while working on liveaboard dive boats she was more than inspired to pick up her own dSLR and eventually became an onboard photo pro working in Hawaii, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific.
Inspired (and obsessed) by the ocean from an early age she received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Tampa where she studied seagrass and a master’s degree from the University of Hawaii. Her travel and diving addiction has led her to over fifty countries. It’s a toss-up which she loves more: photographing the big animals and wrecks or treasure hunt in a candy store of places like Lembeh.
She is an award winning underwater photographer with numerous images and article published in magazines including Scuba Diver Australasia, Submerge, Wreck Diving, and Tanked Up. She also contributes regularly online to Dive Photo Guide, Dive Advisor, X-Ray Magazine, and she is the Ambassador of Ikelite.

Tobias Friedrich « From birth, man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to earth. But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free.”
Jacques-Yves Cousteau
In his childhood Tobias Friedrich loved to watch the adventures of the Calypso with Jacques-Yves Cousteau as its captain and the beauty of the world that is below the ocean’s surface. It’s still an overwhelming feeling for him when he has the chance to dive. He loves the elegancy and calmness of the world under water standing in contrast to the hectic atmosphere above.
Tobias Friedrich lives in Germany and started taking pictures with a DSLR underwater in the year 2007. Since then his images have been published in prestigious scuba diving magazines such as US SPORT DIVER, UNTERWASSER, TAUCHEN, SCUBA DIVER AUSTRALASIA and many others. Several underwater photographic competitions, including Smithsonian’s Ocean Views, Ocean Art, Epson Red Sea, Beneath the Sea, and Celebrate the Sea also have honoured his work as well. He is always passionate for new challenges and up for new, creative ways in underwater photography. All waters, from zero to 30° Celsius, are attractive for him, at least there is something to photograph. He is SEACAM equipment for his Canon EOS 1DX Mark II and 5D Mark II DSLR. He is leading expeditions and workshops around the world, where everybody can join.
More of his work can be found under: www.BELOW-SURFACE.com
His book “Underwater Photography” about how to photograph under water can be found on Amazon and is available in English and German:
