What’s Happening on Day 5 of ‘Capturing Critters @ Lembeh’ Photo Workshop!

Everyone at Lembeh Resort and Critters@Lembeh are finding it hard to believe that we are already reaching the half-way stage of our first Capturing Critters @ Lembeh Photo Workshop. It has already been a great success with not only everyone improving their skills but also seeing so many of the amazing Lembeh Critters and making lots of new friends  in the process!

The main focus of everyone’s photography when they are in Lembeh obviously tends to be on Macro Photography but Ethan Daniels started the seminars on day 5 telling it can also be worthwhile packing a wide angle lens and dome when you come to Lembeh with his Close Focus Wide Angle talk. It was a fascintating talk, giving lots of information of the different types of equipment that you can use, positioning of strobes and much more. Our guests are excited about testing their Close Focus Wide Angle skills over the next few days when we are planning trips to the North of Lembeh and Bangka Island.

This afternoon, Steve Fish our resident Photo Pro will be taking the floor and doing the next in the videography focused seminars – LED Lighting for Video and Stills. In this talk he will be introducing our videographers and photographers to using the same set of lights for both video footage and still photography. I am sure that our main videographers -Hugh, Mark and Elmer – will be listening closely and taking many notes!

Office Hours today will be Carlos and Doug . With our next Critique session being held this evening I am sure that they will both be extremely busy with last minute questions on editing and also inundated with submissions!
